Big Mac Tacos

Big Mac tacos are what happen when late-night cravings stop making sense and start making ideas. All the familiar flavors are here—the seasoned beef, the sauce, the pickles—but they’ve traded the bun for a tortilla and honestly? It works way better than it should.

I love this recipe because it fully commits. The beef gets cooked just right, the toppings stay classic, and that unmistakable sauce pulls everything together. Wrapped up taco-style, it’s somehow less messy and more dangerous at the same time.

These tacos are nostalgic, a little ridiculous, and extremely easy to justify eating more than one of. Big Mac tacos aren’t trying to be clever—they’re just here to have fun and hit the craving dead on.

What will you need?

  • 80/20 ground beef
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • flour tortillas
  • American cheese
  • Pickles, for serving
  • Lettuce, shredded, for serving
  • White onion, diced, for serving
  • For the sauce
  • mayonnaise
  • sweet pickle relish
  • yellow mustard
  • white vinegar
  • paprika
  • garlic powder
  • onion powder
  • sugar

How to make it

Divide the ground beef into 4 equal balls. Press one ball into a tortilla so it is evenly spread and thin and season with ¼ tsp each of salt and pepper. Repeat with the rest of the meatballs and tortillas. Preheat a pan over medium-high and add a tortilla beef side down and cook for 2-3 minutes until the beef is caramelized and cooked. Flip and add a slice of cheese. Add 1 tbsp of water to the pan and cover to melt the cheese. Repeat this process with the rest of the tortillas.

For the sauce, add mayonnaise, relish, mustard, vinegar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and sugar to a bowl and mix to combine.

Top your big mac tacos with 2 slices of pickles, onions, lettuce, and the sauce.
