  • dark chocolate
  • unsalted butter
  • eggs
  • flour
  • salt
  • sugar
  • powdered sugar, for serving

How to make it

Melt the butter and chocolate in a bowl over a pot of boiling water constantly stirring until fully combined.

grease 6 oz ramekins with butter, then coat the inside with sugar.

In a second bowl, whisk together the sugar, salt, and eggs until pale and frothy.

Fold in the flour to the egg mixture.

Fold in the butter and chocolate mixture.

Pour the batter into the ramekins.

Bake at 450 degrees Fahrenheit for 7 minutes. Place a plate over the ramekin and flip. Lift the ramekin up to reveal the beautiful cake.

Garnish with fresh raspberries and dust with powdered sugar. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
